NASASPS Research Grant Program
The National Association of State Administrators and Supervisors of Private Schools (NASASPS) is excited to announce the inaugural 2020 Evaluation of State Authorization research grant program. The objective of the research grant is to analyze state authorization processes and identify practices to increase higher education institutional quality and appropriate consumer protections. This program will support the NASASPS mission to improve and promote effective state regulation of private postsecondary education.

The goal of the research is to evaluate the current authorization practices in each state, considering each state’s resources and legislative landscape. The research should focus on one or more of the following:
All applications will be held at NASASPS headquarters until the application deadline. Applications received by March 6, 2020 will be considered for award at the March 17, 2020 NASASPS Board meeting. Award notifications will be announced no later than March 20, 2020.
